Welcome to the Life Support Group Blog

Wow, what a great start to our Life Support Group. We had newcomers Amy Mallot, Lorene Reeder and Sergio and Ophie Ruiz with a total of 19 in attendance. Our lesson was the first of the Life Together series which focused on our purpose for life. Our scripture was Matthew 22:34-36

Suggested action from the lesson.

Write a mission statement for your life.

Work together with your family to come up with a mission statement for your family.

Pray for the one person that you might bring to our Life Group. Ask God to help you to bring to you the one person who needs this group and a relationship with Jesus.

Further reading:

Leviticus 19:9-18; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; 10:12-13; Proverbs 4:23; 1 John 3:16-18; 4:7-12, 20, 21

I'd love for you to add your thoughts on this blog about the lesson or the group.

Remember that our next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 4 a pot luck progressive dinner meeting at Jamye's house at 6:30.
Please post what you intend to bring on the blog.

There's no need to bring anything to the Cappadonna home.
I will take care of the salad as well as some hot apple cider and iced tea.
We'll be ready for you at 6:30. Try to be on time if at all possible so we can keep on schedule for the rest of the courses.

We had a great time at the Progressive dinner and want to say thanks to the Cappadonna's, Kill's, and Ivey's for opening their homes to us. In our discussions at the dinner, we realized that several of us plan to attend the Third Day concert this coming Thursday, Dec 13th. We live close by CBC (Terraces at Encino) and are inviting all of you to stop by for sandwiches before the concert. A note of caution, traffic at 1604/281N is sometimes horrible, so please plan accordingly. We plan to leave our house at 6:15 in order to get a good seat. If you would like to join us please call or drop an email to let us know how many to prepare for. If the traffic is too much of a hassle and folks are interested, we could (weather permitting) have a small tailgate party at the CBC parking lot. Please let us know your opinion.
